I finally went back to bed at 4:30am, Delilah however had different plans. Finally at 5am I forced my husband to see that I would not be able to take care of two small children on one hours sleep. So, he took her downstairs until 6:30am, then brought her back to me (sleeping, thankfully), and we slept until 7:30am. Don't feel bad for him, he had been asleep since 10pm.
I just finally was able to get an appointment for 3:20pm today. But it's not with the two doctors who know about her condition so I will have to explain it to him/her. Plus if we get another vital statistics girl/guy that has never seen her before, all hell may break loose.
The last time my husband took Delilah in there was a vital statistics girl who had never seen, thus never HEARD Delilah. See when Delilah breathes she sounds horrible, like she is struggling to breathe. She really isn't, it's all part of her condition and it's not all the time. But this girl had never heard of her condtion and never heard Delilah. She immediatly panicked and ran to get our doctor. When the doctor came in she was like "Oh, well that's just Delilah, she always sounds like that." Of course if I don't recognize the person taking her vitals, I will reassure them. My husband is not always the quickest to recognize when people are freaking out about her, thus doesn't respond appropriatly.
Oh, and I normally wouldn't take my kids to the doctor on the first day of sickness. Well, unless it was a really high fever or Friday. But with Delilah we can't let things get worse before we have her looked at.
