I just purchased my third stroller, in a YEAR! I can never seem to be satisfied with a particular stroller. I have right now, in my house, 5 strollers and one on it's way. I have a Graco Quatro that I bought when Sophia was born, I have a Graco Umbroller that I bought just before Sophia was born, I have an Eddie Bauer Tandem stroller I bought just before Delilah was born, I have a Snap N Go stroller I bought just after Delilah was born, and I have the umbrella stroller I just bought in Florida last month. Total altogether that is about $400-$450 worth of strollers, a little excessive.
I purchased the Tandem stroller because it was narrower and less lengthy than a Duo Glider, I had one of those when Aidan was a baby and it was never that useful. Turns out it's heavy and cumbersome to get in and out of the van. Plus it's hard to push and has no room in the basket for anything. I bought the Snap N Go because I figured while Delilah was little enough to still be in the carrier carseat I wouldn't be shopping with her and Sophia alone. Well that was thrown out the window and now when I go alone and use it I have to chase Sophia all over the place. We still use the Umbroller when we go out together, for Sophia. But I haven't touched the Quatro in more than a year, I tried to give it to Jason and Rosy but she couldn't find the matching carseat and diaper bag so she bought her own brand new. She is kicking herself now since she hates hers and has since bought a new one. I now use the umbrella stroller, it stays with the Snap N Go in the van. But I decided after Kale leaves I am going to need something to hold both Sophia and Delilah, SO I ordered a Sit N Stand. I think it will work out perfectly for what I need. At least I really hope so, I spent another $110 on this one.
To really show you the depths of my insanity I will list the strollers we have purchased over the years:
#1 Cosco Travel System Stroller (Given to me during my baby shower for Lilly, I didn't like it and ended up returning it for #2)
#2 Graco Stroller (I kept this one for years, but kept trying to replace it)
#3 Umbrella Stroller 1 (it still is used at my parents house)
#4 Sesame Street half umbrella half regular stroller (it sucked major ass)
#5 Step 1 Jogging Stroller (we used it everyday for 3mths, until I became pregnant with Aidan, I lost 20lbs during that time, we just finally sold it last year for $40 good considering it sat in the box unused for 6yrs)
#6 Umbrella Stroller 2 (this one is also still around at my parents house)
#7 Graco Duo Glider (Hated it, but used it pretty often with Lilly and Aidan, finally put it and #1 and #4 out on the curb and someone came and took them away in MA, I think she said she was a nanny)
#8 Graco Umbroller (like I said we still use it)
#9 Graco Quatro (used it regularly when Sophia was a baby)
#10 Eddie Bauer Tandem (you heard my feelings on this one)
#11 Snap N Go (LOVE IT)
#12 Umbrella Stroller 3 (Pretty purple with flowers, works for what it is)
#13 Sit N Stand (I hope it is as good as I think it will be)
So there you have it, one of my dirty little wasteful secrets. Well only my money was wasted, the strollers weren't, they were all given away, sold, or reside in my house. Maybe someday I will share some more of my money wasting abilities (think livingroom furniture, carseats, clothing, and bedding).

I have a sit and stand and I LOVE it, you can really fit 3 kids in it if neccessary, one sitting in front, one sitting in back and one standing. It is considerably harder to push thought when you have that much weight on it.
PS I answered one of your questions with my post tonight, I had been working on that post and when you asked the question I figured it was a good time to publish it. Its about how Luis and I met. I'll post the answers to the other questions on Thursday or Friday, I haven't decided yet.
I also have a sit and stand and love it. My only complaint is that it is very heavy, and isn't very compact when it's folded. Otherwise it's awesome.
Compact isn't much of an issue since I have a huge amount of trunk space in my new van. Hopefully it won't be too heavy, but I can deal.
Thanks for the input, I really hope I do like it better than anything I have tired. Maybe my never ending quest for the perfect stroller will finally be done.
wow! I thought I had a lot of strollers... I think you beat me, but I'm too lazy to count! lol
I also have had a crapload of carseats too!! again too lazy to count, but maybe one day I will post about that too, seems like a good post. I really would like a sit or stand thing to put on my double joggine stroller so that Trevor has a place to sit and/or stand when I go for walks. he is 4 so he likes to mostly walk when we are at the mall or whatever, but if i go for a walk at home, it is too far for him to do it... i don't do it for this reason. it would break my heart for him to walk 2+ miles or whatever. :(
Anyway.. I hope you love your new stroller, you'll have to give us all and update on it when you get it.
i have the Mountain Buggy double jogging stroller, after numerous other strollers I saw a couple with this stroller in a mall and they let me try it out... with thier kids in it... and I LOVED IT!! I had to have!! Came home and we ordered it... the only thing is that it was $800 but in my honest opinion it was worth EVERY. SINGLE. PENNY!! (plus my husband paid for it, not me!) lol lol
but seriously it is freakind AMAZING!! I love it and would recommend it to ANYONE!!
Hugs, Jenn
