I really should be cleaning

My house is a disaster, but I haven't been feeling well enough to clean. I have however been well enough to shop. I sprung the teens from their last day of school at 12:30 and we spent the rest of the day shopping. We also had a very yummy dessert at Cheesecake Factory, I love Linda's Fudge Cake. We spent most of our time searching for cowgirls boots for Nais. She can't afford a lot, but she really wants a pair. The ones she wanted were $129 and she just can't afford them. I am going to talk to my mom and Green, who both are looking to get her something, about splitting the cost with her. We will see.

I bought a bunch of stuff to clean my kitchen, organize my laundry room, and to keep my towels under the sinks in the bathrooms. My house is a wreck right now, I hate when I start organizing and then get bored/tired/sick/depressed and quit. I will get back on track soon. Kale is done working and soon will be done clearing. Then he will be home all day until June 6th when he flies to Cuba. The bad thing is my mom will be coming over for dinner after the soccer game tomorrow night. I don't like my house being a mess when she comes.

I am going to start a list of chores for the children to do to earn an allowance. I was given an allowance for doing my weekly chores, so I don't have a problem for "paying" my kids to work. They do anything I ask them to do anyways, with little to no complaining. I have to think about what chores I am willing to let them do and how much I will pay them for the chores.

The next big thing to tackle is their playroom. A LOT of the toys will not make it. I would put a picture on here but I am very embarrassed at the mess.

I am tired, so I will be heading to bed. It's been a long, but fun day.
