A pleasant surprise, my dad was able to come with my mom and Lele to the graduation. He works so much that he is rarely able to come to things like this. Aidan was hilarious (well she was herself, which is hilarious). She danced and waved vigorously at us the entire ceremony. They started by marching in to a song the name of which escapes me. Then they did the pledge and sang the national anthem. They each said a line, in between each classes lines they sang three more songs. Then the principal Dr. B said a few words, she even wore her doctoral robes, it was so formal. Then they called each child's name and had them pose like the photo above. It was all very cute and cheesy. Afterwards we had a reception on the front lawn, which I remember just before we left that each family was to bring refreshments. We swung by the commissary on the way to the school, so it all worked out.
Tomorrow (Friday) is another fun filled busy day. As I type Kale and I are sitting in folding lawn chairs in our living room. Jason came over earlier to move the couch and chair in the garage in preparation for the new sectional tomorrow. We are very trashy tonight. Jason and Rosy wanted us to pose or a pic so they could post it on our family site. I, of course, refused. They think they are very funny.
Last day of school and my children are wearing outfits Grammie (mil) made them. I? Hate them. Kale? Hates them. The girls? Love them, well of course Grammie made them for them. This time she didn't tell me she was making them until after she had already picked out the pattern and the fabric. I hate the pattern and the fabric is something I would never have picked. But I didn't say anything and they will wear them anyways, even though Kale told me to pretend they were lost in the mail. I will post pics next Wednesday.
Aidan has an eye appointment tomorrow, not a moment too soon. Her glasses were mangled a couple of weeks ago, I fixed them well enough to get her by until the new ones come in. She was rolling down the hill in my parents backyard and slammed her face into the concrete foundation of the house. It gave her a black eye and a pretty good cut, luckily not bad enough to require stitches. The glasses were bent and twisted. They fall down on her nose quite a bit still, some of the paint chipped off, but I fixed them good enough.
Mom, Lele, and I are going to see Sex and the City tomorrow. I was a big fan of the show. I only kept HBO so I could watch it, cancelled it when the show went off the air. That will be fun, I hope. We had to change Worlds of Fun to Sunday. It might rain on Saturday and my mom said Sunday is better for her. Since she's giving up her day to watch all FIVE of her grandchildren, I will not argue with her. Green says it's better for him too, then he can go to his Model UN meeting/dinner thing on Saturday. Plus my aunt said if we go Sunday she and my cousin will join us, she is a ton of fun.
With Kale's departure eminent, we have decided to have his going away family dinner on Wednesday. Only problem is Rosy can't come, she is starting college next week. He picked Famous Dave's to my mother's joy, she loves that place. Everyone but Rosy and Jason love it, they don't like a lot of our favorite places I think they like to be difficult. It will still be tough getting a table, it always is for a family with anywhere from 11 to 15 people eating together. But it's worth it, we enjoy being with each other. I think we look like a freak show when we go out. People ask us "What's the occasion?" we are always puzzled and say "Dinner".
I guess I have rambled for long enough. Hope you have a great weekend, I know we are! :)

hey girl. i love that you were sitting in lawn chairs in your livingroom. lol that just makes me smile. :) but you know it will all be worth it when your beautiful new sectional comes!! we have a sectional and we love it... it is the micro-suede so it is super easy to keep clean... which is something we needed!! :)
i would love for my family or bryan's family to be that close to go out to dinner together often. i love doing things like that... i think the more the merrier... but not everyone feels that way i guess. also, for some reason, a lot of the family can't handle having all the kids together... our three and then his brothers have children and my brothers have children as well... but oh well... maybe i can start it with my children and con't it on from there. we'll see.
i'm glad you guys enjoyed the ceremony for Aiden. :) She is so stinkin' cute!! :) I love the pic. I love also how you said she was dancing and waving... at least she enjoyed herself. :)
um... i'm trying to remember what else you typed in your post... sorry... the kids keep interupting me too, like i'm supposed to be watching them or something... lol (just kidding... i really am paying attention to them) :) anyway... I hope you have a good time over the weekend, and i wish you good weather for all your events!! :)
OHHHH!!! post pics of your new sectional, i'm nosey... I also can't wait to see the pics of the girls outfits that you MIL made... and also you have to tell me what you think of the Sex In the City movie... i kind of watched the show and what i did see i liked but got into it a little late to really be hooked enough to watch every single show... plus for some reason i don't get to do that even when it something i've been dying or trying to watch... but anyway... i think i would really like to see the movie and enjoy it.. so let me know what you think of it...
have a good day... sorry for taking up so much room in your comment box... as always!!
xoxoxo's Jenn
With the stupid formatting off it looks like I have one big run on sentence or paragraph. Like I am talking a mile a minute.
Jenn- I have a weird thing about certain textures and microfiber/suede drives me nuts. I like the look but I can't stand the feel of it. K used to bring me things to touch that felt like that just to see the look on my face. My mom and bro have the same weird thing.
I will post pics, it's in the house and HUGE. We measured, but oh my it's big. On one end I don't even have room for a table. But hopefully we will be out of this tiny dungon and into a bigger house soon.
I don't mind if you take up so much space, better than having no comments at all. Plus I like to hear what you think.
