1) Spending 3hrs in Wal-mart with my MIL and a crabby 9mth old.
2) Spending 30-45mins of those 3hrs helping her pick out a new telephone system.
3) Explaining the difference between the phones and making a recommendation, which she takes but not after deliberating for 20mins.
4) Feeding Delilah while she sits in the cart in the aisle while my MIL deliberates.
5) Delilah falling asleep for the 30min car ride, waking up as soon as the car stops, is still tired but won't go back to sleep.
It's not been a good trip so far. I hope it gets better from here.

thanks for checking in on me. I hope your SIL is okay. the weather here sucked ass... it was so strange... and then it was hot as hell that night thank goodness we had a generator to run some fans and a radio to keep us posted...
sorry to hear you are having a sucky time so far... 3 hrs in Wally World w/ any children happy or cranky S.U.C.K.S!! I feel ya!! I hope things start to get better!!

I am glad you at least could run some fans. It sucks to be without power, even worse to be without air conditioning.

I was close to losing it. Lucky I have been trained for this type of shopping with her. It's odd how I can shop all day with my mom and my feet don't hurt. 2-3hrs with my mil and my feet, legs, back are killing me. I think it's because I do a lot of standing when I am shopping with her. Plus my mom helps keep track of children, my mil can barely keep track of her cart and purse.
But I guess I am a glutton for punishment because I am going back today with her.
THAT sounds like a few hours from hell....
Oh Lawsy, I hate Wal-Mart AND my MIL. That would have been the trip from Hell for me!
