White Trash Double Stroller
BTW I mean no offense to anyone in anyway, I know that at somepoint in their lives everyone one has done something that another person deems "trashy". I am just poking fun at my MIL's suggestions and ideas. She also has gotten a laugh out of me deeming these ideas "white trash".
Out for our walk last night Sophia could no longer go on walking and I sure as h*ll was not going to carry her, so Judy suggested putting her in front of Delilah. To which I replied "No, I have seen some rednecks (jokingly of course) do it this way." And volia "White Trash Double Stroller"

LOL! Brad doesn't understand why I refuse to give Max a buzz. He gets really mad when I tell him it's WT. But it is!!! Trouble is, some people think WT is kewl. He wants a pitbull too, and a display case for shot glasses.
BTW I think your package arrived yesterday but the mailman has this sort of vendetta against me and refuses to knock. He left me one of those slips, which means I won't be able to go get it for another month or so. You know, next time I get the car.
sort of lol but have done that before.
i know it is sort of white trash/redneckish... but it beats carrying a kid!!
and besides those kids are so freakin' cute... you barely notice the white trashiness of it all. lol
hope things are getting better.
my offer still stands!! (you know what i'm talking about.);)
XOXOXO's
Marie- I understand your pain, Kale thinks El Caminos are the shiznit for whatever and I totally think they are white trashish. At least where I am from they are, I dunno other places they might be classy cars, but not in my town. He had one when we were first dating up until just before we moved to MA. I refused to ride in it 95% of the time. Maybe if it had been fixed up, but probably not.
Yeah I have heard a lot about their brother Gabe and his pitbulls. I am glad that Bobby Jo finally put her foot down or whatever happened to make him get rid of them for the sake of the baby. They scare me, along with Rots and Dobies. I just don't trust dogs without tails.
Hopefully you can get the box soon, but you don't need it for awhile anyways so no big deal really.
Jenn- Never my intention to offend, I just like to try and be funny once and awhile. I was a little wary of this one being as funny as the playpen one. I know a lot more people have done this, so I wasn't sure how well it would go over. And I may actually need to take you up on your offer, soon. :P
Ha Ha Ha! I love it! I am from California and we have the white trashiest folks around here. I saw a woman at the mall and she cut holes in her backpack and put her kid in it! My sister could kill me sometimes but when her second was learning to talk I taught her that when someone says "Nationality?" She would yell "HILL-BILLY!" Hell... they aren't my kids!
oh my. i didn't mean that you had offended me. :P not in any way... i JUST re-read my comment here and it sort of sounds snotty or snobish... not in anyway did i mean to sound that way....
just that we both know it is WT to put two kids in a single stroller, but we have bothe BTDT b/c it beats carrying the little brats. lol
i was not offended in any way shape or form. honestly and sorry if my comment was snotty... so not what i was going for. :) lol
i think we should start a WT blog day... lol it would be fun. instead of wordless wednesday we could have WT wednesday lol.
how is this for WT...
my MIL gave me a teddy bear with an outfit on it... for my FIRST born's babyshower... i thought it was okay... i'm not big into stuffed animals, for me or for the kids... but with the girls i'm getting more used to them, and have only bagged up some of them...
but anyway... later she told me that the outfit on the bear is for my son... okay whatever... and then she says it is Ralph Lauren, okay... then she tells me how she got it at Salvation Army for only $1 or something and that they gave her the bear for FREE b/c she told them her idea for the gift for the baby shower. ugh.
now i'm not a hand-me-down snob or anything like that... I LOVE hand-me-downs... love LOVE love them... like Christmas for me... I have a friend of my mom's that gives me her granddaughters clothes that are all like BRAND NEW and all really nice brands... stuff that I couldn't afford two of for my girls but there are usually two of everything b/c she likes to dress her daughters alike and they are close in age...
and I must admit that i frequent the thrift stores, but usually only for play clothes or camping clothes.... when it doesn't really matter too much what they are wearing... and yes I have sent my son to school in Salvation Army clothes and my kids have all worn them out in public... BUT the point is...
it is very and i do mean VERY white trash to give someone something from SA for their unborn child... and your grandchild when you can most definitely afford a new gift... and don't tell someone that you only paid a dollar and that you got the skanky ass stuffed animal for free... ugh. i put the stuffed animal in the burn bag. lol
oh well now that i have left an entire post here in your comments, i'm going to go... and the moral of my story was that...
I love ya! I hope my comment didn't seem like I'm a total stuck up bitch... althoug I am some times, I would NEVER act that way to you!! :)

Jenn- Don't worry you didn't. I was really just a little worried I'd offend someone with this post, so I wanted to make sure you knew that.
I can match your SA story with one from K. Her mil has more than once bought her x-mas gifts at a yard sale and told her she did and how little they cost. One was this horrid housecoat thing, it was huge, red, and had stretch jersey small sleeve like openings for her arms AND feet. It was the ugliest thing I have ever seen in my life. Oh and she was given microwave egg poachers. All that for $3 I think it was, she may correct me on any or all of this information.
While I don't look down on hand me downs, I don't approve of them as gifts. Almost everyone can afford the clearence rack at any store that sells baby clothes, you don't have to get much to show you care. A pack of diapers is always a good gift and farely inexpensive if you are only buying one pack.
Off the subject, but anyhow I didn't think you sounded snobbish or angry. I just wanted to clarify my intent.
Have a good day! :)
Kiki- Funny! But I have sympathy for your sister. My brother has taught the girls some pretty bad sayings. Like the time Aidan, Sophia (a baby), and I were at Kohl's and some older ladies were cooing over Sophia. Aidan went up to them and yelled "Stop looking at my baby sister you PUNKS!" I called my brother right then and there to scold him. He of course thought it was hilarious. I of course apologized for Aidan's behavior and scolded Aidan for what she said. So while I would think it is funny for other kids, for mine it's embarrassing and irritating.
