I Hope She Starts Sleeping Soon!

Delilah is teething again, which means sleep is not continuous for me through the night. That coupled with me watching the Olympics all night long, makes for a tired mommy. Before I was going to bed around 10:30pm so I wasn't so tired, but the past few nights I have been up past midnight. Someday she will sleep through the night.......I hope.

I booked Sophia's Build A Bear party this morning. I plan on having 7 children there (with Lilly, Aidan, and Sophia included) so it should be a fun, albeit pricey party. But I won't have to buy party favors, plan games, or clean up, to me that is worth the $150+ it will cost. K fixed her birthday dress for me, thankfully. I have seen it in pictures on Abby and it looks 100% better. I just received the bows I ordered for her and Delilah to match their dresses, they are so very cute.

Other than Sophia's party we will do small (HA! Like having all of us together is small.) family party with cake, ice cream, and presents on their actual birthdays. Judy is coming out again to celebrate their birthdays with us. We are also going camping Labor Day weekend. I haven't been since Aidan was a baby. I rented a cabin for Judy, the girls, and I, I am hoping Judy will help foot that bill since I only did it for her. I just realized we leave in two weeks for that trip! I am so not mentally prepared for it yet. Then the weekend after that is my cousins wedding, which I am only invited to the reception. I am glad Judy will be here to watch the girls, the reception starts at 7pm, too late for them. The circus is coming to town that week too, but I am not sure I will have the money for that too, even though I love going.

The first week of school has gone pretty smoothly. Even though this morning I shut my alarm off and woke up with only 20mins to get out the door. Aidan and I went rounds on the second most complained about article of clothing she has, pants. They were "too tight" which her pants always are when she is grumpy. I told her I didn't have time for her games this morning and she quit complaining. No problems with Aidan at school as of yet. I was a little worried, but as usual I worried for no reason.

We will do a little shopping this weekend, we have coupons :P But not too much because I need to save my money for the trip. Hopefully everyone else has a good weekend.

Hello there. :)

You house/life sounds busy and full of good things!! :) Build a Bear bday party... you ROCK!! my kids would love that... BUT they only do the Build a Bear part and then pay NO attention to the stuffed animal when we get home. So we don't do B-a-B. Maybe the girls would be different since they are older now than the last time we did it... but I'm not sure. BUT they always BEG to go in the store... and I'll admit... they always do have the cutest stuff... animals to choose from and clothes and accessories for your new pet! ;)

Camping in a cabin is going to be a lot of fun!! I bet the girls are so excited!! :) We are going camping again next weekend. I hope we have good weather. I hate camping with kids and rain... worse than camping with rain and a tent. lol lol

We had a wedding this weekend for Bryan's cousin... it was very nice. It was on Saturday... the church was at 3:30 it started late... but it was nice... then the reception was at 6:30 pm and we didn't eat till almost 9... BUT the food was out of this world good.... and we had o'derves (sp?) before hand... and WE went to the dinner to eat after the church b/c we were starving. lol ;)

Anyway... it was a good night out. WE had Heather (blogger Heather) babysit for us... she was the BESTEST for doing that.. and Jillian helped her out. It was nice to go and not worry about the kids at all and who was watching them.

we got home around 12 something and then had to get up at 5:30 AM to drive to the Jersey shore yesterday morning. :) We packed up everything the day before so it was a big help... then loaded the kids up at 6 AM and had a great day at the beach!! :) We are all tired today... but that is okay... we are home and will survive... and thank God for nap time. :)

I'm sorry to hear that Delilah is keeping you up at night... and sorry to hear that teething is so bad for her. :( Poor baby. Being tired and teething and it keeping her up all night must be rough on her. :( I know I tried those teething tablets with Lauren and Brooke BUT it made them wake up more often in the night... because the natural ingredient in it can cause... hallucinations, at least that is what the dr told us. so we stopped them, and she started sleeping through the night... it was mostly Lauren waking up numerous times at night.

I'm glad school is going well for the girls! ;) Trevor is getting really anxious for school to start... and that makes me feel good. we still have to get a few more things for him to go back to school with... sneakers and jeans... he doesn't need jeans at first b/c it is still warm here... but not for long i'm affraid... but he does need sneakers, he got some before school got out which would have been fine, but he used them for good and PLAY sneakers since he had no play sneakers. I want to get him two new pair... so he they will last him a little longer and he will have choices of what to wear. ;) He is set with shirts and shorts to start school with b/c the kid has more clothes then most teenage girls. lol he has more clothes then Lauren & Brooke combined. lol

Anyway... I'm so rambling here... sorry. Hope you had a good weekend. :)

My kids beg to go in too. I hate when they beg, like they should get something every time we go to the mall. It is a cute store, I agree.

I hope for your sake it doesn't rain when you go camping next weekend. I hope for my sake it doesn't rain when we go.

Glad you had a good time. Unfortunatly the reception I will be attending will probably not be that fun for me. Since I will be going alone, I don't think I will stay very long.

Wow, I didn't know those things caused hallucinations, I used to give them to Aidan, I think it was her. They should really put that on the bottle, of course then no one would buy them. Maybe thats why you can't find them anymore in main stream stores.

Oh teething time is never ever fun! Emma would thankfully sleep through the night, but she'd wake up early...we always knew when she was teething because she'd wake up a few hours earlier than she normally would and she'd be grumpy!
