Wordless Wednesday

I didn't take any pictures this week of my kids, bad mommy I know. I have been preoccupied this week so blogging has taken a backseat. My mil arrives tomorrow, woo hoo! And in other news the hurricane was nothing more than a tropical storm in Guantanamo Bay last night, so Kale is safe, sound, and I am not 500G richer. :P Kidding of course, for now he is worth more to me alive. :P
This is BC, before she got sick and lost a few pounds. She weighed about 20-23 lbs, she's a huge cat.

She was a little mad at me, I had to give her a bath, she reeked. She is getting older and her grooming has become lax.

But she still stayed still while I bathed her. I am very glad her front paws are declawed. I almost threw up giving her a bath though, she had clumps of poo in her fur near her bottom. It's not fun to wash and cut that out of thick cat fur.

(Can you believe declawed is not a recognized word in spell check!?)

Your hubby is at Guantanamo? Oh I am so sorry.

Yes he is, you must not have been around my blog when he left back in June. He won't be back until next July. It is better for him to be there rather than Iraq or Afganistan, but for us it's pretty much the same. Gone is gone to us.

i'm glad to hear that kale is okay. that it wasn't anything worse than a storm.
that is very good news.
i love how you phrased it that for now he is worth more to you alive than dead. lol that is how i talk about my husband all the time. :D some people don't agree w/ my humor, but they can go scratch. not my problem. lol lol

your kitty is such a good cat. i can't imagine giving my cat a bath... but then again my cat is a royal bitch... all. the. time. ugh.

she is no fun and NOT nice. not ever.

you are a good pet mommy for cleaning her like that and even cutting the poop-hair from her.

when i get old and can't take care of myself any more, i'm coming to live with you. shit, can i come now?? i will wipe my own ass, and help clean up after myself...and i promise not to bring any of my kids. lol

i see your comment to jacki, how are you doing?? i mean, i know that is a stupid question... but i hope you are doing okay... as good as you can be. i know that some days have to be harder than others, but i hope you have some days that are easy too. :)

i'm off to read some more posts... my computer has been acting like a complete looser!! ugh.

ttys.

missed you!!

Jenn,
K and I talk about our hubbies like that all the time. It is kind of an off thing to say, but my sense of humor is off.

BC is a good kitty, she is a huge lap cat. When I was pregnant with Aidan and could sit around more often, she would lay on to of my tummy. She tried a couple of times after Aidan was born to sit on top of my belly, of course it was gone and she just ended up sitting on my boobs which is not at all comfortable to either one of us. She is a little less lovey now, but she is over 10yrs old so I guess she is entitled.

You can come stay with us, I am not sure where you would sleep though. According to Aidan you can sleep with me, at least that's what she asked if K was gonna do when she came to visit us.

I am okay most of the time. Somedays are harder of course, but overall we are copeing better than I thought we would.

I missed you too, I wondered what had happened to you.

you just reminded me to have the KIDS wash the dog today. Glad that your hubby is okay.

I bet you are happy that your cat is declawed, lol. My brother's cat freaks out if she even hears running water.

Kiki,

We had to have her declawed. She ruined a $1200 couch and loveseat set. And she was beating up our other cat who was declawed when we got her.
