Does this look like the face of a serial killer?

She doesn't look like a serial killer, but yet we have had major bloodshed during her reign. In her short lifetime Lilly has been given no less than 5 hamsters and most recently a gerbil. The last two hamsters had been given to her between her b-day in July and Christmas. They each lasted only three months, then died. After Hamsty died, 3mths after her b-day, we went out and bought an expensive Honey Bear Hamster. "$20 freaking bucks? It better live!" I thought to myself (or out loud to the guy selling it to me). Honeybun too only lasted 3mths before his untimely demise. I swear to you we did nothing but feed and water these creatures. We didn't even handle them unless we were cleaning the cage, weekly BTW. After 5 hamsters in 3 years die in your care, you kind of take it personally. That's why Santa gave Lilly a freaking gerbil for Christmas. So far he's still alive.

Pet lovers I want to let you know that I love animals and we do take care of these critters very well. We have a dog, two cats, a guinea pig, and a parakeet and they are all alive and doing well. The dog we have had for 10 years now. Cat#1 we have had for 7 years now and cat #2 we just adopted from our neighbors this month. The guinea pig has been with us since Dec '04 and she is still alive and kicking. The parakeet was a gift from Santa to #2 daughter this Christmas, so only time will tell.
