I thought I said my weekend was going to be boring?

Not so much...

I have been very busy and tired. I rarely turn down an invitation to go, well, anywhere. Friday night my parents invited us out to KC's First Friday's. The first Friday of every spring/summer month they have an artist type festival. All the galleries downtown are open to go through. While I am not a fan of modern art, I am game for anything. Plus we went to Los Tules for dinner beforehand. We went with friends the family, Shelby and Rich, then my brother, Green, Lele, & Nais also came. It was a little chilly, not like the Royals game last week, but chilly. Navigating the galleries with the stroller was tough, but we worked it out. My brother acted like a big child since I forgot to mention after dinner we were going to the art galleries. He wasn't mad at me by the end of the night though, he was really mad at Green. But the reason he was mad was stupid and childish. But that's my brother when his wife is out of town. Sophia, Delilah, & I got home around 10pm and they went straight to bed. I tried to go to sleep early, but I have trouble sleeping alone.

Saturday morning I bathed the girls and showered. Then we went to the commissary on the way to my mom's. My poor dog couldn't be fed last night since Kale didn't tell me he was out of food. I didn't realize he was out until 11:30pm. Then we picked my mom and Nais up to go shopping and to Panera Bread for lunch (my favorite). After shopping we went to Lansing Daze, a small (tiny) street fair in the town I went to high school in. We shared a funnel cake (another one of my favs) and Sophia slide down the inflatable slide a couple of times. That is about all there was to do, it was so much more boring this year than years past. After that not much went on before I took my babies home to hang out. I cleaned my stove, did my dishes, and put the to bed. Now I will sit for a little while before I do some more housework.

Hope every one else's weekend was fun!

I get things done better when I am already up and busy. If I start my day sitting or being lazy, I will never get going. I just wish I had been able to get more done, but I had fussy baby.
